Measuring the size of a welding helmet lens is relatively straightforward. First, find the centre of your lens and measure from the centre point in both horizontal and vertical directions. Those measurements will tell you the approximate height and width of your lens. To get more precise measurements, you can use callipers or a ruler. Finally, keep in mind that welding helmets come in different sizes, typically ranging from 2” x 4” to 3¼” x 5½”.
