Contact tips are one of the most frequently replaced components of a MIG gun. The contact tip is responsible for guiding the wire and transferring the current from the conductor tube—sometimes referred to as a swan neck or gooseneck—through the filler wire and ultimately to the workpiece.

Tapered front end to give easy access to the gun.
Chamfered base so contact tip sits snugly to the diffuser.
Shallow entry on the bore to ensure wire feeds with greatest efficiency.
