As the latest and greatest addition to the UNIMIG RAZOR line, this machine is capable of any kind of welding you need it to. MIG, High Frequency AC & DC TIG, as well as STICK, no matter what you’ve got planned, the RAZOR MULTI 230 AC/DC can do it. |
DUAL PLUG COMPATIBILITY: Connect to any 10A or 15A outlet for even greater versatility. The machine comes plugged with a 15A plug, so to connect to a 10A outlet simply attach the supplied conversion lead to your machine and change your output mode on the machine. In 10A mode the output is limited to 200A, and the duty cycle is limited to 10% at 200A. |
POWER FACTOR CORRECTION (PFC): PFC gives you maximum electrical efficiency, so you get the most out of the machine. |
5” COLOUR LCD SCREEN: Change settings with ease with the intuitive screen controls and next-gen user interface. |
100+ SYNERGIC PROGRAMS: Just select your metal, wire size and gas, and you are good to go. |
SPOOL GUN & FOOT CONTROL READY: This machine supports the connection of a spool gun as well as a wired or wireless foot pedal. |
MIG SMART-SET: Setting us for a weld has never been easier with the preset MIG Synergic settings. Select your wire, gas, joint type and material, and you’re ready to go. |
Complete MIG Weld Cycle Control: Get complete control over your MIG welds with a full set of adjustable parameters. It comes with the standard settings like as pre- and post-gas flow, arc ignition speed, and burnback. Plus it also includes more advanced features, like Arc Start and Crater Fill, for full control over the beginning and end of your welds. |
ARC START: Start your welds hotter or colder, depending on what your project needs. |
CRATER FILL: End your welds as strong as they started and eliminate craters and pinholes. |
INDUCTANCE CONTROL: Choose your preferred arc characteristics with the Inductance settings. |
TIG SMART-SET: The preset TIG Synergic settings are the easiest way to set up your TIG welds. Simply select your filler metal, joint type and material thickness, and it’s ready to weld. |
AC/DC HIGH FREQUENCY TIG: TIG weld aluminium without issues with AC. High-Frequency TIG (H/F TIG) gives you more control when starting or stopping the arc and reduces the risk of contaminating the tungsten or the weld. |
MIX AC/DC: Mixed AC/DC welding is the combination of TIG AC and TIG DC- in one weld. Mixed AC/DC gives you faster welding speeds, better penetration, a faster weld puddle on cold workpieces, and you can weld on thicker materials.
|
PULSE MMA (STICK): Welding helps reduce spatter, improves heat control and allows for an easier removal of slag. It also improves the speed and efficiency of vertical up welds by eliminating the use of the “Christmas Tree” technique, while still maintaining root fusion.
|
ARC FORCE: Keep your arc stable during every weld, with no cutouts or electrode sticking.
|
HOT START: Increase the stability of your arc ignition and improve the fusion at the start of every weld.
|
Geared Wire Drive: This machine features a geared roller drive unit, providing consistent and smooth wire feed, and it helps when using longer MIG torches..
|
Heat Control Trigger (HCT) Mode: When using the Heat Control Trigger Mode lets you set a base current, which you can switch to at any time during a weld by pressing the trigger button. Heat Control Trigger Mode is great for manual heat input control as you go.
|
ANTI STICK: Prevent your electrode from sticking ever again.
|
Features Foot Pedal
|
The perfect accessory for your RAZOR MULTI 230 AC/DC, easily adjust your amperage remotely without disrupting your torch movement for a perfect weld, every time.
|
Take the foot pedal to your weld with up to a 20m connectivity range. The signal can pass through walls, so you don’t even need to be in the same room as your welder.
|
The foot pedal gives you hands-free amperage adjustment so you can get the perfect weld without disrupting your torch movement or fiddling with a scroll wheel mid-weld.
|
100% wireless, for increased safety and reduced clutter in your workspace.
|
Connect to your wireless foot pedal in two easy steps. Simply select the Wireless Foot Pedal option in the machine settings and then press the foot pedal down to connect instantly. Don’t be restricted by your machine.
|
Take complete control of your weld pool.
|
Keep your workspace clear of unnecessary cables, minimising clutter and removing any trip hazards for a safer work environment. |
Features Chaos Helmet
|
4 Arc Sensors – Maintain constant sensing and automatically switches the helmet from light to dark and back again.
|
Enhanced Viewing Area offers a larger viewing area for the operator.
|
True Colour High Definition Filter Technology greatly improves the optics allowing the user to see a full spectrum of colours. Also Assists with alleviating eye fatigue making it safer for extended periods of welding
|
Grind Mode allows the operator to switch the helmet from the welding mode into a fixed shade for grinding. This function removes the need for the operator to change visors and to simply use the welding helmet for grinding when required.
|
Shade Control Automatic Welding Lens allows the operator to switch between variable welding shades 9-13.
|
Permanent complete protection against UV/IR even in transparent condition. The UV/IR protection level is DIN15 all the time. DIN standard approval guarantees maximum eye protection during welding.
|
The front cover lens provided is manufactured of high polymer materials, is wear-resistant, thermostable, and is resistant to spatter.
|
Lightweight Design makes wearing the welding helmet more comfortable for the operator.
|
Features Trolley
|
Robust welding trolley is the ideal platform for your portable welder or plasma cutter. |
Includes 2 x gas bottle chains. |
Includes 2 x lead/cable hanging hooks. |
Outrigger caster wheel design for greater stability. |
Large upper tray with an open-front design accommodates small or large machines, including most portable MIG welders up to 250A. |
Overall Size (mm): 1,000L x 720H x 420W (including axle). |
Features Alloy Welding Rods
|
UNIMIG 5356 Aluminium TIG Welding Rods are a triple shaved TIG wire for the purpose of welding cats and wrought aluminium and specifically the 3000, 5000 & 6000 series. |
5356 offers outstanding corrosion resistance when exposed to salt water and hence is sometimes referred to as “marine grade” because it is widely used in the marine industry. Commonly found in general fabrication applications as well. |
The major element in 5356 wire is 5% magnesium. |
The wire has excellent weldability and corrosion resistance. |
These high purity fillers have sensational flow characteristics and produce exceptional welds that are free of cracks, Fusion defects and other problems which inferior wires are prone to. |
X-Ray Quality. |
Low Fume Factor. |
Typical applications include marine, tubing, thin sheet, tanks, checker plate& general aluminium fabrication. |
Features Stainless Welding Rods
|
UNIMIG 316L Stainless TIG Welding Rods are a high-quality low carbon TIG wire used for TIG welding 316 and 316L stainless steel alloys. |
UNIMIG 316L is also suitable for welding other 300 grade stainless steels such as 302 and 304 grades. |
Austenitic stainless steel welding rod for TIG welding of unstablised or stabilised corrosion resisting Cr-Ni-Mo steels. |
This particular rod can also be used for gas (oxy/acetylene) welding. |
Resistant to inter-granular corrosion up to 400˚C. |
The filler wire is also suitable for welding titanium and niobium stabilised steels such as ASTM 316Ti in cases where the construction is used at temperatures not exceeding 400°C. |
X-Ray Quality. |
